Christ at the Centre
About the school
St Joseph’s is a Catholic primary school and pre-school in Moorthorpe for children aged three to eleven. Ofsted confirmed in June 2022 that the school continues to be a good school. The curriculum is built around leadership, environment, aspirations, diversity, resilience and service; pupils sing in the Leeds Diocesan Singing Programme and lead through School, Sports and Eco Councils and active Mini Vinnies. With the parish at its heart, the school community is governed by Gospel values. The new pre-school offers places for three-year-olds, and breakfast club and Supper Club until 6.00pm support working families.
“Pupils enjoy attending this school. They feel happy and safe.”
