Holy Family & St Michael’s Catholic Primary School, a voluntary academy is a welcoming school with Christ at the centre.
Our mission as a Catholic School is to create and develop a community centred upon the teaching of Jesus Christ, where all individuals are able to reach their full potential.
We aim to ensure that pupils are given a secure environment which allows for their spiritual, emotional and intellectual development and which will enable them to become happy, useful and successful members of society.
Central to the life of our school and underpinning all that we do are the gospel values of love, respect, honesty, justice, forgiveness and a sense of community. Our school is a happy place where children are well-behaved and the parents and governors are supportive. In September 2017 the school received an Ofsted Section 5 inspection and it was found to be a ‘Good’ school.
Canon Tim Wiley, our Parish Priest, visits our school regularly to say Mass whilst also leading the children in spiritual and moral development.
