About Us

The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust was formed to preserve, maintain and develop Catholic education in the communities our academies serve. We are a family of fifteen academies, twelve primary and three secondary, across Wakefield, Kirklees, Leeds, North Yorkshire and the East Riding. Together we educate more than 5,000 children and young people from the age of three to nineteen.

Our academies are communities where children are offered a clear vision for life, rooted in the person and the teachings of Jesus Christ and faithful to the mission of the Catholic Church. We uphold the dignity and unique human value of every person, and we hold the same expectation of excellence for every child, whatever their starting point.

We serve all our families, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, and we work with partners across education for the benefit of the children and young people in our care. We are committed to working together as academies and with the wider community for the common good.

Each academy keeps its own character, its own community and its own parish links. What they share is the strength that comes from working together: the expertise of colleagues across the Trust, and the services we provide and procure centrally.
