Welcome to The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust
Love. Friendship. Joy.
When Bishop David Konstant wrote to our schools as this Trust was established, he asked them “to always act in love for each other, to always ensure that joy has a real presence in their actions, and to always behave in a way that strengthens friendship.” Those three words have guided us ever since.
We are a family of fifteen Catholic academies across Wakefield, Kirklees, Leeds, North Yorkshire and the East Riding, educating more than 5,000 children and young people from the age of three to nineteen.
Our Trust Prayer
Come Holy Spirit, fount of light and wisdom. Kindle the spark of your love within our Trust, that your flame of truth may shine a light upon us and ignite the hearts and minds of our young people.
Encourage us to seek excellence in all that we do, be mindful of those less fortunate than ourselves and rise to every challenge which faces our Trust community.
Guide us and direct the progress of our efforts today, that the work you have begun in each one of us may be brought to fruition.
This we ask through our Lord Jesus Christ, reigning with you and the Father, forever and ever.
Amen.
