“I was born in Leeds in August 1959. I went to school at St Nicholas Primary Gipton, Leeds and to St Michael’s College Leeds.

After completing A levels, I worked for the Civil Service in Leeds – Department of Employment Group for 6 years (1977-1983) before studying for the Priesthood.

I trained at St Cuthbert’s College, Ushaw, Durham (1983-1988).  I was Ordained to the Priesthood by Bishop David Konstant 9th July 1988 at St Nicholas Leeds. I was Assistant Priest: St Patrick’s Leeds, Mount St Mary’s Leeds, St Anne’s Keighley; Parish Priest: St Columba’s Bradford (1994-2002), St Mary of the Angels Batley (2002-2010), St John Mary Vianney Leeds (2010-2019); Dean of North Leeds (2010-2019), and Parish Priest St Joseph’s Pontefract (2019 – present date).

I was appointed Canon of Leeds Cathedral in November 2016.

I am Secretary and Trustee, Yorkshire Brethren Society.

I have served as a School Governor at various primary and secondary schools (1988 – present date).”
