Lesley Fitton

“I am the CEO for the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust, having previously worked in the role of Standards Officer for the Trust.

Having worked predominantly in Catholic Schools since qualifying as a teacher, and serving as a Catholic Leader for twelve years within the BKCAT, including latterly as Headteacher and Interim Executive Headteacher, I am passionate about supporting and developing the schools within our Trust. It is a privilege to serve in Catholic communities and to have an input in improving the life chances of our children and young people.

Through my recent experience in a school improvement role, providing School to School support within the Diocese of Leeds and the Local Authority, I recognise the importance of working in collaboration with other schools and the benefits this can create for schools.

I graduated from Christ and Notre Dame Catholic College, Liverpool in 1992 and completed a PGCE in Primary Education at Leeds Trinity University in 1993.  I gained my NPQH in 2004.

I am a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Pontefract, where I am actively involved as a catechist.”
