The BKCAT are seeking to appoint a Trust ICT/AV Technician to provide exceptional ICT support to an outstanding family of schools.

The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust provides an exceptional education for all of our students. We are committed to upholding the God-given dignity and unique human value of every student as we give young people the knowledge and support to succeed in life whilst building better, stronger Catholic communities.

Based at St Thomas à Becket and with regular travel to other sites, you will identify and diagnose ICT/AV-related issues, install, configure and maintain ICT equipment, and provide wide-ranging advice and support to users. In particular, you will proactively suggest cost-effective solutions and upgrades, plan and deliver hands-on training and encourage a strong data protection culture, requiring highly developed interpersonal skills as well as wide-ranging technical knowledge.

Naturally, you will bring sound ICT and AV experience possibly gained within a large, complex organisation, ideally backed by a relevant NVQ. You will certainly be adept at fault-finding and problem solving, fully versed in hardware and software and familiar with GDPR regulations, and you should be capable of taking the initiative and prioritising your own workload.

Finally, you must be flexible regarding responsibilities and will be ready to go the extra mile every day to provide an efficient, effective and responsive ICT service.
