Chrome and Proxy Settings (Primary School Staff)

creative442020-10-12T11:43:40+01:00Most of you will be using Google Chrome. Changing the Proxy settings using chrome is slightly different to changing with Internet Explorer.

• START by clicking the 3 dots at the top right of Google Chrome Browser > CLICK on Settings
• SCROLL down to the bottom and click on ADVANCED
• SCROLL down to SYSTEM and CLICK on Open your computer's proxy settings

This will open a new window - Windows 10 will open a system window called PROXY see below

Windows 10

• SCROLL down to Manual Proxy Setup and turn off Use a proxy server > CLICK SAVE

Every other Version of Windows

• A new Window will open > CLICK Connections from the list of TABs along the top > CLICK on LAN Settings
• UN-CHECK the tick from the proxy box > CLICK OK and then Close all windows.
