This is a rare opportunity to join St. Wilfrid’s in a leadership position within this core subject. St Wilfrid’s is an ambitious community of learners, both students and staff, where individuals are valued, supported and developed. We are seeking an ambitious leader and outstanding teacher to further develop the R.E. KS3 provision and deliver outstanding progress and outcomes for our young people. The successful candidate will be supported and developed, so that as well as contributing to students’ success, and that of the overall School’s, they are personally developed in their career.

The RE Team is made up of 9 dedicated colleagues, with a range of experience. Students study the Eduqas Religious Education GCSE course and the Eduqas Religious Studies A Level qualification at Post-16.

St. Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,534 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. St. Wilfrid’s was judged as Good by Ofsted in June 2016 and was also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.

St. Wilfrid’s is proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.
