One-year fixed term contract to cover maternity leave term-time only plus one additional day

32.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 3.30 pm

This is an opportunity to join us in making a significant difference to the students at St Wilfrid’s.

The position is to provide first-line support to students and staff who are taken ill or have an accident in school.

To supervise pupils who are unwell during the school day and to liaise with parents/guardians of those pupils who are too ill to remain in school, arranging for their safe collection from school premises.

Record all accidents or incidents and maintain pupil medical records on a daily basis ensuring that pupils with daily needs attend and administer medicine regularly.

Job Specification

St Wilfrid’s Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire. There are currently 1,534 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history. We were judged as Good by Ofsted in June 2016; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.
