Dr Nick Elliot

Foundation Director

“I am a recently retired General Practitioner having worked in the NHS for 40 years and in the same South Leeds practice for the last 36 years. I am a practicing Catholic and a parishioner at St Ignatius Catholic Church in Ossett. I have previously been a Governor of St Ignatius Catholic Primary School. I have visited Lourdes regularly with the Diocese of Leeds and in recent years have been the medical director of the pilgrimage working alongside my wife who is a retired nurse. I have 4 children who are now aged 34-26, all of whom were pupils at St Ignatius in Ossett and St Thomas à Becket in Wakefield. My youngest daughter is a teacher in a Catholic primary school in Kirklees. I have 3 grandchildren for whom we provide childcare 2 days a week. They are now pupils at St Ignatius Ossett. My regular past times include walking our 2 Golden Retrievers, visiting our holiday home in Anglesey and playing tennis.”
